Hold On – Week 9
November 11, 2020
By Noonefromtampa
This Sunday featured another close loss to the New York Giants, five straight losses at that.
In the Giants game, WFT were called for six penalties with all accepted for 45 yards while the Giants were called for five penalties with four accepted for 40 yards.
They are averaging 4.8 penalty calls a game this season, less than 8.2 average penalty calls per game in 2019, which is a 40% reduction.
The game’s big penalty was Jabrill Pepper’s hit on Kyle Allen which resulted in Allen having his ankle dislocated and Pepper being called for roughing the passer. It was a bang-bang play, but I thought it was worthy of a disqualification call.
