Preseason game #1: Washington at New England Patriots

Welcome to the start of the 2025 season, everyone!  I’m not going to do a full, regular game preview here since this is the preseason, and it doesn’t really matter.  I therefore decided that I’m not going to waste my time doing it.  Based on various media reports, as well as past history, it’s highly likely that the starters are going to play very little, if at all, in this game.  What we’re mainly looking for in this contest is, first, no injuries, and second, for some of the players buried on the depth chart to stand out.  I’m looking at you, Jaylin Lane and Jacory Croskey-Merritt.  Anyway, let’s just enjoy the fact that Washington football has returned for the 2025 season and worry about winning games once it matters in a few weeks.
