Washington’s head coach interviewing has progressed to the second round. Aaron Glenn, Dan Quinn, Mike Macdonald, and Anthony Weaver have had in-person interviews and remain in contention. Ben Johnson withdrew his name from consideration and Bobby Slowik signed a new contract with the Texans. Some reports have Quinn as the leading candidate.
If another head coach with a defensive background is hired, the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach will be the key hires for the new staff. It may even been possible than Eric Bieniemy remains the offensive coordinator.

Thoughts
The college all-star games are underway. The Hulu Bowl was on January 13th. The East-West Shrine Bowl is on February 1st and the Senior Bowl is on February 3rd. All of the games will be televised. The Commanders have been active with scout watching and interviewing players at all three games.
The next big event in the draft process is the NFL Combine, which is Thursday, February 29 – Sunday, March 3 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
