2022 Road to the Draft – Part 3

Current Rumors

Multiple reports have come out that Washington head coach Ron Rivera is ready to go “all in” to get a franchise-level quarterback for the 2022 season. What exactly that means is not known right now. They could look to make a trade for a veteran QB like Derek Carr or Aaron Rodgers. Another option is to sign a veteran free agent QB like Teddy Bridgewater or Jameis Winston. Lastly, a package of picks and players could be put together to move up to draft “their guy”.

Personally, I would like to preserve talent, so I would pursue a free agent QB while drafting a player to develop at that position.
