The Washington Redskins’ free agency barrage (of sorts) continued on Wednesday, as the team signed two more free agents, tackle Jeremy Vujnovich and wide receiver Cody Latimer.

Juvnovich, who stands 6’5” and weighs 300 pounds, was originally signed by the Green Bay Packers in 2013 as an undrafted free agent from Louisiana College.  He spent two years with the Packers’ practice squad.  He moved to the Colts in 2016 and once again spent time with the practice squad before being promoted to Indianapolis’ active roster and earning the starting left guard spot in 2017.  The Colts waived Juvnovich prior to the 2018 season, but he was then claimed by Arizona Cardinals, where he stayed until September 21, 2019.  He was out of football until signed today.  In total, Vujnovich has played in 23 games, starting 18, in his career.  The Redskins announced this acquisition.

Latimer, 6’3” and 222 pounds, was the Denver Broncos’ second round pick in 2014 out of Indiana.  In his career, he has played 66 games, starting 15, with 70 receptions in 119 targets for 935 yards, a 58.8% completion percentage, 13.4 yards per reception, and 6 touchdowns.  He ran the 40 yard dash in 4.44 seconds at the 2014 NFL Combine.  Latimer spent four seasons in Denver before agreeing to a one year contract with the New York Giants.  He missed 10 games of the 2018 season due to a hamstring injury, but was re-signed for 2019.  Last season, Latimer played in 15 games, starting 10, with 24 receptions in 42 targets for 300 yards, 12.5 yards per reception, and 2 touchdowns.  His signing was originally reported by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
