Thoughts

Did the Bills get a break here at the end of the half in the Thursday Night game?

Missed calls, inconsistent calls are plaguing the officiating again this year.

Marshon Lattimore leads the team in penalties committed. If he’s the number one cornerback, he needs to clean that up. The good news is the defense committed zero penalties this past weekend.

Special teams played better this week, with the big plays outshining the miscues of Matt Gay kicking his first kickoff out-of-bounds and Noah Igbinoghene holding on a nice Jaylin Lane punt return.

I can’t remember a game I have ever watched where a team’s two tackles were both called for penalties on the same play twice in a game. That must be some kind of record.

The Packers committed 14 penalties in their meltdown loss to the Browns, including 3 (with one declined) in the last two minutes of the game. That helped to put the Browns in a position to win the game. Washington needs to avoid doing this against teams they should beat.
