Thoughts

Marshon Lattimore leads the team with 4 penalties through two weeks. It makes you question whether the trade was all it was cracked up to be. On the other hand, Trey Amos has been excellent in his first two NFL starts.

The average of 8.5 penalties is about 2.5 too high. The team needs to play cleaner and with more focus cutting down on the mental mistakes.

The officiating crews seem to have been especially erratic the first two weeks. Game analysts and the officiating analysts have called into question a number of plays. Where was the hip-drop tackle penalty on the play where Jayden Daniels was injured?

Kaleb Johnson of the Steelers got schooled on the kickoff rules, allowing the Seahawks to recover a live ball in the end zone for a free touchdown. Johnson has been removed from special teams duty.
